Temporary Hiatus

I am temporarily suspending writing on "The Surprising Life and Death of Diggory Franklin." This should only be a few weeks. The reason is that I haven't been home all week, I've been visiting my father in the hospital as he is in the last stages of terminal lung cancer, and he lives in a different city. I'm home visiting my wife and kids today, and then heading back tomorrow.

The doctors say that it's just a waiting game at this point, but there's no telling how long he has left. It could be weeks, it could be later today. All we can do is be supportive, so he knows we're there for him. When all of this is over, hopefully I can get writing back on track. But, until then, I appreciate the support of all my readers. Thank you for being here, and I'll get things up and running as soon as I can.

That's a raw deal. I hope

That's a raw deal.

I hope things go as well as they can.

Gavin,

God bless you, and give you strength for the next few days. Will be thinking, and praying, and hoping for you.

Take care.

Much gratitude

Thanks for the kind thoughts, guys, I appreciate it a lot. I'll keep you posted. :)

Best wishes

This is eerily like life imitating art.
Best wishes, Gavin.
