Any relation to the coffee shop at questionablecontent.net or spontaneous co-generation? |
Totally an Homage
I'm a big fan of Questionable Content, and wanted to include a little shout-out to such a great series. It's also something fun for people to find.
In a round-about way, QC is part of the reason I put my fiction online: I was looking into webcomics, and an advertisement on QC (which is hilarious) led me to Alexandra Erin's Tales of MU, an online serial novel. I realized the internet was a forum for creative writers, and decided to start sharing my stuff too.
Doom
The reference to Coffee Of Doom was a big part in why I read and then clicked on the ad that sent me here.
Can't remember where the ad was though.

I clicked over here from Tales of MU. That ad didn't say anything about Coffee of Doom, though. It said, "I met a beautiful woman today. Twice. I'm still trying to figure that out. Before it kills me."
I just read what I think is the first chapter and this seems like an awesome story. *The key to getting and keeping regular readers is updating regularly and on time. It's not until you've got them hooked that you can slack on that and keep people's interest. So, good luck, and I look forward to reading more!
*My totally unsolicited and, apologetically, slightly rude sounding, two cents.
Thanks for dropping by, hope
Thanks for dropping by, hope you like it!
And, 43 chapters are up and I update 3 times a week. There's been a bit of a delay this week because my wife had a baby, but otherwise things should sail smoothly.
Congratulations
Hope your sleep doesn't suffer too much.
Thanks Chris
The baby is now five months old, and with three kids it means my sleep suffers a lot -- but not as much as you might think. Thanks for the congrats! The whole family is doing great.
